DAYBREAK DICE ROLLING
-kept up to date. 1.31.2019
Dice Rolling!
We consider this to be a very original and unique idea brought into the Warriors survival Roleplay!
Now, how does it work? Is it as overly-complicated as Dungeons & Dragons?
Not at all!
To save the stress and keep the fun we've made it so much simpler to appeal to the wide age gap these RolePlays hold!
After all, we're here to have fun not do math right?
-
We want RolePlayers to take the lives and personalities of their characters more seriously. Treat them as if they could actually die. This saves everyone from playing "the hero" and living.
Let's start with your HitPoints (Health)
You should keep in mind we run an HP (HitPoint) system in The Forest. Your character is not a god, they have 1 life with HP which ranges from 10 - 40
Your HitPoints will be determined by your characters age/rank.
The younger you are the less you will have, you will be naturally weaker
until you are a grown warrior, where you will be the strongest.
When and if you make it to an Elders life you will lose HitPoints due to naturally
becoming frail and weak again!

When and if you make it to an Elders life you will lose HitPoints due to naturally
becoming frail and weak again!
What the heckers is a HitPoint/Health?
It's your characters life bar! It determines how much abuse they can take
before they have to call in a fight or flee before they take serious damage!
It helps to make a realistic and interesting Roleplay!
-
Here are our stats for age/rank:
These ages apply towards Kittypets and Loners as well!
▶ Kit - Age 0 - 6 Moons ▶ 10 HitPoints
▶ Apprentice - Age 6 - 12 Moons ▶ 20 HitPoints
▶ Warrior - Age 12 - 50 Moons ▶ 30 HitPoints
▶ Senior Warrior - Age 50 - 80 Moons ▶ 40 HitPoints
▶ Elder - Age 80 Moons + ▶ 25 HitPoints
Queens gain Motherly Instinct +5 temporary HP whilst nursing kits
Next, we have stats for Attack & Deference!
Every time you go to make an attack you must first role a d20 to determine if you hit or miss your target. Your opponent will also roll a d20, the highest number wins.
▶ Kit - Cannot attack - d6 to dodge/defend
▶ Apprentice - d6 for damage
▶Warrior - d10 for damage
▶ Senior Warrior - d14 damage
▶ Elder - d8 for damage
When can we use Dice Rolling?
Here are the examples which I can think of using Dice Rolling to make things more interesting:
▶ Hunting in your clans or in another territory
▶ Battle with another cat!
▶ Training with your apprentice/mentor
▶ Using your abilities to climb trees or swim through water!
How would they work?
▶ Hunting
In your own territory: You gain Territory Advantage
Territory Advantage ▶ Advantage role! Take two roles on your dice, taking the HIGHEST number as your final role.
Example1: You roll a D10, your first role is a 4 but your second role is an 8! You take your second role as your victory!
Example2: You roll a D10, your first role is a 7, your second role is a 2.
You take your first role as your victory!
The Highest Number is your final number

Example2: You roll a D10, your first role is a 7, your second role is a 2.
You take your first role as your victory!
The Highest Number is your final number
In a foreign territory: You gain Territory Disadvantage
Territory Disadvantage ▶ Disadvantage role! You take two roles on your dice, taking the LOWEST number as your final role.
Territory Disadvantage ▶ Disadvantage role! You take two roles on your dice, taking the LOWEST number as your final role.
Example1: You roll a D10, your first role is an 8, but your second
roll is a 2. Your second role is your "victory".
Example2: You roll a D10, your first role is a 2 and your second
roll is a 7. You take your first role as your "victory".
So first of all;
STARTING STATS
The numbers in the centre of the card are your starting stats, you can move these numbers in any order into the stats above labelled; STRENGTH, AGILITY etc.
These Stats go towards your ability rolls so for example;
STRENGTH = fighting, training
AGILITY = climbing rocks & trees
SPEED = racing, fleeing the battle
STEALTH = hunting, spying
STAMINA = trying to do something longer than another
How you would roll these;
NOTE: All actions start with a d20 that must land a 12 or higher to succeed!
STRENGTH = Both Players d20 + strength stat = final number THEN your action roll to determine how much damage you do to the other player (Highest wins)
AGILITY = Both players roll d20 + agility stat = final number (Highest wins)
SPEED = Both players roll d20 + speed stat = final number (Highest wins)
STEALTH = Both players roll d20 + stealth stat = final number (Highest wins)
STAMINA = Both players roll d20 + stealth stat = final number (Highest wins)
BONUS STATS & CLAN
Bonus Stats are determined by what clan you choose to be in!
Bare in mind, you can only have one! Since you can only be in one clan.
These stats go into the little + boxes below your starting stat boxes at the very top of the helper card! These add to your ability rolls so for example;
STRENGTH = d20 + strength stat = final number THEN your action roll to determine how much damage you do to the other player
+ BONUS STAT for that extra punch!
NOTE: We believe this to be the strongest ability in the game at the moment so we're giving the other clan bonuses a way around this to even and make a fight against a ThunderClan cat more balanced.
AGILITY = d20 + agility stat = final number
+ BONUS STAT
NOTE: You can use AGILITY as an advantage to dodge and hit your opponent. d20, roll higher than your opponent and you can dodge it, the you can make your rolls for damage to take a quick hit on your enemy.
SPEED = d20 + speed stat = final number
+ BONUS STAT
NOTE: You can use SPEED as a flee or dodge to make it more fair and balanced against a strong ThunderClan warrior. If you roll a d20 and get higher than a 12you take half the damage.
STEALTH = d20 + stealth stat = final number
+ BONUS STAT
NOTE: You can use STEALTH to sneak up on another cat, you make the above roll and if you get higher than a 12 you can attack your opponent twice in one turn!
STAMINA = d20 + stealth stat = final number
+ BONUS STAT
NOTE: You can use STAMINA as a flee or dodge to make it more fair and balanced against a strong ThunderClan warrior. If you roll a d20 and get higher than a 12you take half the damage.
RANK & HIT POINTS (HEALTH)
Starting from 0 to 80+ your Health will change between those ages and are labelled as such on the Help Card. This determines how much damage you can take before fainting and losing a fight. This makes events roll more fair, interesting and runs a little faster without people struggling to decide who wins a fight, let the fate of the dice decide.
ALSO your rank gives you a HP bonus; labelled above as well.
This just makes it so that the higher ranks are less likely to be defeated and are treated more like bosses. Giving a sense of real achievement if you and your buds decide to take one of them down!
NOTE: Leader has 9 lives, their age still determines their HP, 9 lives only mean once they lose their full HP they faint, lose a life then regenerate after 2 IRL days down to 8 lives with full HP once again. You can regenerate 9 lives without dying.

Below is a more in depth graph explaining how everything ties up with each other on the Helper Card. I have a written explanation further below for more help if you're struggling to understand the graph! Don't stress yet!
So first of all;
